Das Team von j-c-k konnte das Herzstück einer Bäckerei neu formieren und gestalten.
Die Bäckerei Martin Auer ist in Graz und Umgebung mit zahlreichen Filialen vertreten. Da die bisherige, seit 1688 betriebene, Backstube endgültig an ihre Grenzen stieß, entstand am Grazer St.-Peter-Gürtel nach Plänen von j-c-k das neue Atelier Martin Auer.
Das Gebäude vereint dabei die neue Backstube, ein großzügiges Kaffeehaus und die Verwaltung des Unternehmens in einem spannenden Komplex. Bäckerei und Kaffeehaus bilden dabei ein Raumkontinuum. So werden spannende Blickbeziehungen möglich – Gäste beobachten die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter der Bäckerei. Und diese, oft versteckte, wesentliche Rolle der Bäckerei, tritt aus dem Schatten ins Licht.

The team of j-c-k was able to reshape and redesign the heart of a bakery.
The Martin Auer bakery has numerous branches in Graz and the surrounding area. Since the previous bakery, which had been in operation since 1688, had finally reached its limits, the new Atelier Martin Auer was built on St.-Peter-Gürtel in Graz according to plans by j-c-k.
The building combines the new bakery, a spacious coffee house and the administration of the company in one exciting complex. The bakery and coffee house form a spatial continuum. This makes exciting visual relationships possible - guests observe the employees of the bakery. And this, often hidden, essential role of the bakery, steps out of the shadows into the light.
